Are your games authentic? +
Yes. Every item we sell is 100% authentic. We do not sell reproductions, bootlegs, or counterfeit items. All games, consoles, and accessories are carefully inspected before being listed.
Are game cases original or replacements? +
Cases are original and cleaned whenever possible. If a case is badly damaged, it may be replaced with a high-quality aftermarket case.
Do games have new save batteries (such as Pokémon)? +
Yes. When applicable, we install new save batteries in cartridge games that require them so the save feature works properly.
Are items tested before shipping? +
Yes. Games and consoles are tested before being listed and again before shipping to confirm they function properly.
Do you resurface discs? +
Yes. If a disc has cosmetic scratches but is otherwise playable, we use professional resurfacing equipment to restore it and improve reliability.
Do you ship internationally? +
Yes. We ship internationally and a flat international shipping rate will be applied at checkout.
Do you buy games and consoles? +
Yes. You can sell your games through our Sell Your Games page where you can search items and receive instant trade values.
How fast do orders ship? +
Most orders ship within 1–3 business days. Once your order ships you will receive a tracking number.

What items do you accept for trade-in? +
We accept authentic video games, consoles, and select accessories that are functional and in sellable condition. We do not accept reproductions, counterfeit items, or broken hardware.
Why sell your games to Revitalizing Retro? +
Revitalizing Retro is run by Jayboymodz and his wife Briley, who are collectors themselves and passionate about preserving classic games and hardware. Every item is inspected, tested, and handled in-house. Trade values are based on real market data so sellers can feel confident they’re receiving fair offers.
How are trade values calculated? +
Trade values are calculated using real-time market data from PriceCharting along with item condition and demand.
Can I trade graded games? +
Yes. We accept graded games. Because graded values can vary significantly, please email trades@revitalizingretro.com with photos and details so we can review the item.
Can I trade loose games? +
Yes. Loose games are accepted, although complete copies with box and manual may receive higher values depending on the title.
How long is my quote good for? +
Quotes are typically valid for 7 days from the time your trade is submitted as long as the package is shipped within that window.
How should I pack my trade-in? +
Please ship your trade in a sturdy box with adequate padding so items cannot move during transit.
Is there a minimum trade-in total? +
Yes. Trade submissions must total at least $50 before they can be submitted.
How fast do you pay after my trade arrives? +
Once your package arrives we inspect the items and aim to issue payment within 3–4 business days.
Can I have my trade returned to me? +
Yes. If items cannot be accepted or if you decide not to proceed with the trade, we can return the items to you. Return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer.
